Every single picture she took looks amazing and you can tell how much time she put in every single detail! We originally booked Jennifer for a May 2020 date, but had to change the wedding date due to a family illness and were SO RELIEVED when Jennifer could do our back-up date as well. We live in Colorado and our wedding was back east, and Jennifer went above and beyond to make sure that we could do a quick engagement shoot on one of our brief visits back east. It was rainy and we didn't have a ton of time, yet the engagement pictures looked AMAZING - we couldn't believe it! Of course, the photos for the actual wedding and rehearsal dinner were amazing as well. She really captured the atmosphere and environment of the wedding very well in her shots. My favorite thing about working with Jennifer, even more than her great photography skills, was how relaxing she was to be around and how I generally felt that she added to my wedding experience. She had a calming personality that you really need on such a big day. She was EVERYWHERE during the wedding, but never actually felt like it. My wife and I came away from our experience with Jennifer thinking "wow, the photos are great...but we really want to be friends with her after all of this is over!" As a photographer myself, one of the most important things about my wedding day was the quality of the photos. We had a fairly intimate, somewhat remote, destination wedding, so another important factor was finding someone willing to do some adventurous travel! Let me start out by saying that my husband and I are both sort of introverted people. Having my photo taken is usually a very uncomfortable experience. So when we decided to have some photos taken to capture our engagement, I was a bit nervous. Jennifer had a relaxed and calm presence as soon as she arrived. We started the shoot at home and in our yard, on her suggestion, which helped make us all the more comfortable. She gave thoughtful suggestions while still keeping it loose and not looking staged. Jennifer has such a good eye and saw the potential in the everyday and turned it into something magical. I adore the pictures she took, they are candid and beautiful. When I look at them I see how much I love my husband and how much he loves me. Jennifer captured that and I am so grateful to have the photos to look at now with my children and someday with my grandchildren.

She was very detail-oriented and easy to work with, and even came by the day before to scout out locations for photos. On our wedding day, she and her assistant worked tirelessly to photograph us in a number of cool spots, and both were super laid back and accommodating! (Her assistant even ran to get me a glass of water so I’d be more comfortable while we were shooting.) We had a huge crazy wedding party—including two babies—and they were able to get great shots of everyone.
We can’t say enough how much we liked the pictures she took, and our parents can’t stop talking about them either. It sounds cliché but our only problem right now is trying to narrow down which ones we want to print. Thanks, Jennifer!
